Lost C:

Yesterday I lost my hard drive, which had windows xp on it. While playing game, win XP crashed and I had to press reset button.
Since then the win xp won’t let me in, so I tried to recover from the cd . It seemed okay. However, when win xp’s tour screen came up, there were multiple error messages, which stated “couldn’t find this file or couldn’t save that file. I figured hard drive was totally dead. Luckily I had backup of all the data from C drive and had 3 different hard disc for its own purpose. One for the system, another for application, and the other for music, picture, and pure data.

I bought Western Digital’s 120 GB from bestbuy ’cause I had to set up a system quick. I paid $110 but there is $50 buck mail-in rebate~ Yeah. By the way somehow newegg.com wasn’t available yesterday at all.

Reference on Easing animation [Updated]

This link is a page from macromedia’s livedoc and explains how to set animation styles for componets v2.0.

Update(09/29/04):

This link
has also full information of easing and tween classes built in flash mx 2k4.

Links page

I’ve finally linked to *links page*. When you get to the page and view the source, you will see very simply javascript only. That’s because the page is rendered from MSXML DOM object using xml and xslt combination. I was going to do that on the server, but my web hosting company doesn’t provide xslt module on PHP yet and probably won’t install it ever. I could use xml object instead, but I’d rather want to use xslt template.

ASP.NET Configuration Elements

Since I’m in a group that works with .NET technology I will need to be able to set up ASP.NET configuration file, *Web.config*. As for contents in the file, followings are the elements that can be used:

Technical Writing

I’ve been attending technical writing course online and reading so many posts that were written by many different people. What impresses me in learning online is a chance to get to see a subject from broad range of angle. People ranging 20 some to 60 are there discussing *ONE SUBJECT* which could be very hard to do in traditional school.

flashmx-coders.com

Flashmx-coders.com is forum site where Korean flashers come and discuss issues that they faced. I have been a web master and administrator for about 3 years. Recent events such as online master courses, moving to .net group restrain me supporting the forum mentally.

Sometimes I think I should stop supporting it and just take the site off line. The site is not functioning the way I wanted it to be and it is vulnerable to same kind of operation failure as other flash forums.
