I don’t usually post personal dislike behavior toward certain company but this time I’m writing up. The current hosting company, which is mediatemple.net, has not fixed any problems that I’ve complained for few months.

1. FTP issue: according to them FTP application on server side has been defective and because of that ftp’s responsiveness has been freaking slow. If I initiate upload some files, I have to wait for 20 – 30 secs until it will actually upload them. Download? the same. I actually got a phone call and told me about the issue. So what? It did not fix the thing.

2. Web mail: I can’t navigate through anymore. I get page busy error everytime I try to delete, forward, or do anything. Their answer? They are not seeing any issue. (WTH!) I’m seeing the damn issue every second, every hour, and every day!!!

I think those areas are the most important areas in hosting environment in terms of convinicence. But they seem to neglect it.

I’m searching another hosting environment now and never want to go back to *MEDIATEMPLE*
I became a MEDIATEMPLE HATER and would NOT recommend it to anyone ever.

In Css stylesheet you are never able to set height of table, div, or anything to 100%. Even if you set it, it will be never supposed to work. Though you can make height of div or table stretch to bottom of the screen.

There is expression() that you can use instead. Here’s an example:

style=”height:expression(parseInt(document.body.offsetHeight))”

The code above will do the trick. If you want to make html elements reach 50px off the bottom of the screen, the code will look like this:
