visual studio 2005

Today I received visual studio 2005 standard CD plus SQL standard edition from one of co-workers. He went to “READY to LAUNCH” event, which was held by microsoft back in Dec 2005 and received 2 copies of the tool.

So I installed it on my box at home. Everything went smooth as butter. I’m ready to rock and roll with visual studio 2005. I like c#. Also I like visual studio IDE. I’m glad to receive a free copy of visual studio 2005. :)

For the next few weeks, I’ll get to know .net 2.0 APIs first. I’m so excited.

haha ;) I’ve been working with asp.net for about 2 1/2 yrs already. From time to time I work with flash, but the works were not the serious though.

By the way thanks for the offer to help me out. :) If you need help with anything, let me know I’ll try to help out as well.

    VS2005 is damn purty.

I’m still a newbie to the .NET framework, but in next to no time i had my own PM software talking to a remote SQL Server with ease.

Testimate to the power, the only thing that leaves me slightly confused is how .NET 2.0 plays a role in the upcoming Vista generation…

ie is it a throw-away skill when Vista “XAML” gets traction…?
